Gndu’s Lifelong Learning Department offers hope to Matric and 10+2 pass droputs

Amritsar August 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Metric or class 10+2 passs could seek admissions to various courses in the Department of Lifelong Learning of Guru Nanak Dev University till August 31.

                   Dr. Saroj Arora, Director said that the Department conducts various programmes under non-formal mode of education for fulfilling the educational needs of those who could not get appropriate opportunities for higher education. Therefore in order to adopt the changing circumstances in the technological world, educational programmes are conducted by the University.

               The courses of one year duration includes Certificate Course in Dress Desiging, Cutting and Tailoring; Diploma in Cosmetalogy; Diploma in Grapics and Web Design; Diploma in Computer Application; Diploma in Fasion Designing; Diploma in Fashion and Taxtile Design are offered. Similarly, Six months certificate courses includes Certificate Course in Beauty Culture; Certificate Course in Web Designing; Certificate Course in Auto Cad and Reveat Modelling; Traning for IELTS; Certificate Course in English Speaking and Communication Skill.
