Deputy commissioner orders “Case Studies” of all deaths in the district

SDMs snd SMOs asked to engage private hospitals in testing

Kapurthala, September 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Deputy Commissioner kapurthala Deepti Uppal has ordered to conduct “case studies” of all deaths occured in district Kapurthala due to covid 19.

          Today reviewing the efforts to contain the deaths due to covid , Deputy commissioner said that it was necessary to find out the all aspects related to all deaths like his/her medical history, travel history , genetic problems, age factor , co morbidity conditions.

          She said it will facilitate the administration to implement more effective steps to stop the deaths in the district. She asked the all SMOs to submit reports in this regard in two days.

          Deputy Commissioner also asked the SDMs and SMOs for joint efforts to engage the services of private hospitals for testing in the rural areas. For to meet this object it was also ordered by the Deputy commissioner to increase the mobile testing units so that each and every contact of covid positive person can be traced out and tested.

          Prominent amongst participated in the meeting Included ADC (G) Rahul chabha , ADC Phagwara Rajiv verma, SDMs of all 4 sub divisions and ACS Dr Ramesh kumari , Deputy medical commissioner Dr Sarika Duggal and all SMOs.
