Rs. 71.95 lakh sanctioned to strenthan the roads in city
Kapurthala, October 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Rana Gurjit singh today said that the Punjab Government has 
sanctioned Rs. 71.95 lakh for the upgradation of inner roads in Kapurthala city.
Today after starting the road upgradation work at Mohalla Jatpura in the city the MLA said that due to the spread of covid many development work remained uncompleted but as of now the government has provided some relaxations in lockdown these work have been started on war footing. He said that all the inner roads in the city would be upgraded/ renovated till the December of this year.
He said that the sewerage facility would be provided to the 100 % population of the city as the project worth Rs.3.5 crore is on full swing and hopefully these projects to be dedicated to the residents in next two months also. Besides that 4 new deep tubewells have also installed in the city for adequate drinkable water supply to the people.
