Amritsar, Oct. 28 (Manjit Kaur) – Chief Khalsa Diwan was all set to celebrate its 112^th foundation Day on 28 Oct, 2014 with great fervor and gaiety. Shri Akhand Paath Sahib was hosted by Chief Khalsa Diwan in Gurudwara Chief Khalsa Diwan from 26-28 Oct, 2014 to commemorate the 112^th foundation anniversary of Chief Khalsa Diwan. After Bhog ceremony on 28-10-2014, Ragi Jatha of Sri Harmandir Sahib and the students of Sri Guru HarKrishan public School, G.T.Rd., chanted divine and soulful Kirtan and enthralled the Sadh sangat with their religious hymns. Hon’ble President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha welcomed all Sadh sangat and distinguished guests. He added that Chief Khalsa Diwan has a long history of 112 years to serve the every section of society. Since its inception in 1902, CKD has embarked upon a new venture in the field of education and religion. .It has also entered into the field of Technical and professional education. After opening ultra modern and well equipped Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Schools at Kanpur, Hoshiarpur( Nanda Chaur), Kapurthala and CKD Center of Civil Services, ASR , now CKD Institute of Management & Technology at Taran Tarn is going to be inaugurated on 16 Nov., 2014 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal at the grand occasion of World Sikh Education Conference which would attract a large no. of prestigious personalities from social, political and religious sphere and Sikh Scholars not only from Punjab and India but also from all over the world. Besides, a world class Residential Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School at Shubam Enclave in Amritsar is scheduled to be opened shortly. Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Sarai situated at the campus of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, ASR is going to be inaugurated on birth anniversary of Bhai Veer Singh i.e 5 Dec., 2014 where Chief Khalsa Diwan is ready to serve the dear ones and relatives of patients under treatment in Hospital.

                    Moreover Chief Khalsa Diwan has successfully added 3 Adarsh schools in assocoiation with Punjab Govt. at Ucha Pind( Kapurthala ), Naushehra Pannua( Tarn Taran), Dhandhra ( Ludhiana) which are going to impart quality education to render excellent results under the flagship of Chief khalsa Diwan.. Honrary Sec. S. Narinder Singh Khurana put light on the splendrous history of Chief Khalsa Diwan and the forthcoming projects of CKD. He added that. It is all due to the grace of holy spirit which has always been the strength of Chief Khalsa Diwan. At this occasion a book depicting the progress report of Chief Khalsa Diwan was released gracefully. President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha and Other Members of CKD prayed for bestowing CKD with confidence, courage, faith, hope and wisdom to do the right things and make all efforts for further developments of CKD.. Vote of thanks was purposed by Dr. Dharamveer Singh. S. Harminder Singh,S. S.P. Singh walia, S. Manmohan Singh, Sarabjit Singh, S. Jaswinder Singh Advocate, S.
