DAV Students Excel in Badminton Championship  

Amritsar, February 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road , performed exceptionally well in Amritsar District  Badminton Championship held at Badminton Hall, Amritsar from 10^th to 13^th February 2021.In all 250 participants  participated in the tournament .

• Under 11Girls Singles

   Dhwani (Std – V ) Clinched the Runner’s up trophy.

• Under 13 Girls Singles

Yatti (Std – VII ) was declared the Winner and Naureen ( Std – VI ) bagged the Runner’s up trophy

• Under 13 Girls Doubles

Yatti (Std – VII ) earned the Winner’s trophy and Samaira Arora secured the Runner’s up trophy

• Under 13 Boys Doubles

Akhil (Std – Vi ) was declared the Winner.

• Under 15 Girls Singles

Yatti (Std – VII ) clinched the Winner’s trophy.

• Under 15 Boys Singles

Aryaan Mohindru ( Std – VIII) bagged the Runner’s Up Trophy.

• Under 15 Boys Doubles

Aryan and Akhil earned the Runner’s Up Trophy

• Under 15 Girls Doubles

Yatti (Std – VII ) and Naureen (Std – VI ) were declared the Winner.

• Under 17 Girls Singles

Yatti clinched the Winner’s Trophy.

• Under 17 Girls Doubles

Yatti and Naureen were declared the Winner.

• Under 19 Girls Singles

Yatti bagged the Winner’s Trophy and Naureen secured the Runner’s Up Trophy

All the students have qualified for the State Level.

Regional officer Punjab Zone A Dr. Neelam Kamra and  the Manager of the school Dr. Pushpinder Walia  congratulated the students and blessed them for their future endeavours.
