Amritsar, March 12 (Punjab Post Bureau) – “Creativity among the youth is a healthy sign of developing society like
India.” This observation was made by Principal Dr. Mehal Singh while inaugurating an Art Exhbition at KT:Kala. This exhibition was organised by Post Graduate department of Fine Arts of Khalsa College Amritsar and will last up to 13th March 2021. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh while thanking KT Kala for hosting the exhibition congraulated the students and the staff of fine Arts department. Dr. Surjeet Kaur head of department said that this is a positive achievement of the students of fine arts that despite pandemic they have manifested their skill. Prof. Mehtab Kaur, Prof. Harmandeep Kaur and Prof. Gurinderjeet Singh of the department put great effors in the exhibition in which more than fifty art works of students have been displayed. Secretary Rajesh Raina and Director of KT Kala Brajesh Jolly welcomed the guests and appreciated the art work of students. Many prominent artists of city like Mala Chawla, Ravinder Dhillon, Narinder Singh, Gulshan Sadana, Kawal Sehgal, Gursharan Kaur, blessed the upcoming artists by their presence in the exhibition.
Registrar of the College Prof. Devender Singh and Deputy Registrar Dr. Deepak Devgan were also present along with other professors of the college.
