Shabad Singing Competition by NJSA College to mark Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Parkash Utsav

Kapurthala,  March 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Nawab Jassa Singh Ahluwalia Government College, Kapurthala conducted ‘Shabad singing” competition to mark the 400th Parkash Purab of Guru Teg Bhadur ji , in which students of different classes participated

                  Principal of the college Jatinder Kaur said that during the online competitions conducted by the music department of the college, the students participated enthusiastically and videos were sent by singing the words through WhatsApp.

               She said that during the competitions first place went to Deepak Singh BA Part I while second place bags by Rachpal Singh BA Part II. Third place went to Vikrampal Gill and Prabhjit Singh both BA Part I. Apart from this special award given to Satbir Kaur BA Part III.

                   Congratulating the winning students, she said that the Punjab government was providing a platform to uplift the skills of the students. She said that more programs were being drawn up by the college for the celebration of Guru Sahib’s enlightenment so that the message of Guru Sahib could be passed on to the younger generation.
