KCW Gets Dr. Surinder Kaur as New Principal

 Joins Office in Presence of KCGC Functionaries

 Amritsar, April 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Khalsa College of Women (KCW) today got a new Principal when Dr. Surinder Kaur Associate Professor Khalsa College of Education (KCE)  joined her office in presence of Governing Council (KCGC)’s top functionaries including honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina. She is Ph.D having over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience.

            KCW present incumbent Dr. Manpreet Kaur who was serving as Acting Principal, after her retirement two years back, was meanwhile given the warm send off at the occasion. While welcoming the new Principal, Chhina said the KCW was a reputed College for the women education in the region and they had high hopes from Dr. Surinder Kaur.

            He recalled the meritorious services rendered by Dr. Manpreet Kaur who made her best efforts to take the College to the newer heights. He said Dr. Surinder’s experience would be an asset for the institution offering a number of newer professional courses. 

            Dr. Surinder Kaur was selected following the rigorous interview process recently by the management, said, “It is an honour to associated with the prestigious College. I will do my best to take the institution to newer heights”.

            KCGC joint Secretary SS Mannan, Principal Jagdish Singh, Member Sukhbir Kaur Mahal, Principals Dr. Mehal Singh, Principal Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Principal Dr. Surinderpal Kaur Dhillon and others were present.
