BBK DAV College for Women observed Ekta Diwas

Amritsar, Nov. 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – NSS Unit of BBK DAV College for Women observed Ekta Diwas in commemoration birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel informed Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra. Volunteers displayed banners on ‘Unity’. Programme Officer Ms. Jaspreet Bedi told the volunteers that the idea behind observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day is to pay tributes to Sardar Patel who was instrumental in keeping India united. Students President Pratibha and Vice President Sakshi recited the Ekta Pledge. Programme Officer Surbhi Seth and Dr. Shweta Kapoor who were also present motivated the volunteers to work for national integration. The volunteers were told that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel dedicated his life to spread the message of Unity, Safety & Security.
