DBT sponsored workshop on “Fabrication and Use of Electronic Equipments” organized

Amritsar, Nov. 5 (Punjab Post Bureau) -A one day DBT sponsored workshop on “Fabrication and Use of Electronic Equipments” was organized by Department of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women. There were two invited lectures and one technical session during this workshop. Professor R.C. Singh, Head, Department of Physics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar delivered a lecture on ‘ohmic and non ohmic contacts’. Professor R. Thangaraj, Department of Physics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar threw light on the role of non equilibrium carriers in semiconductor devices. A technical session was held by Mr. Balraj Gautam, Senior Sales Manager, MARS Edpal Private Limited, Ambala during which he enlightened the students about various electronic equipments through demonstrations. Faculty members and students from DAV College, SR Govt College for Women, GNDU College, Verka and various others colleges participated in the workshop. Principal Dr (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Dr. Shweta Mohan, Head, Department of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women, extended a vote of thanks to the chief guest and participants for sparing their valuable time. Dr. Nipin Kohli, Mrs. Priyanka, Ms. Ankita, Mrs. Jaspreet and Ms. Daljit were also present during this workshop.
