To submit report till July 2
Kapurthala, June 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Raj Kumar Hans Member Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes today visited village Mansurwal Dona to redress the complaint filed by a widow women Pushpa Devi who belongs SC community.
Mr. Hans listened to the concerned parties and also scrutinized the documents submitted by them.
Mr. Hans said that Pushpa Devi Widow Sukhraj resident of Mohalla Dr. Sadiq Ali Police Station City Kapurthala had complained that Ajit Singh son of Mahinga Singh resident of Chhoti Baradri Jalandhar had illegally occupied her land besides threatening her.
Mr. Hans said that the complainant had approached the Commissioner and sought justice in the matter which was referred to him by the Commission for hearing.
Commission Member Mr. Raj Kumar Hans said that for the complete investigation of this matter a two member SIT has been constituted by the Commission comprising DSP Kapurthala and Tehsildar Kapurthala. The Commission has directed the newly constituted SIT to thoroughly investigate the matter and submit its report by July 2, 2021.
He said that the report of complete action in this regard would be submitted to the chairperson of the commission.
SDM Kapurthala Virinder Pal Singh Bajwa, DSP Surinder Singh and officials of other departments were also present on the occasion.
