VC Dr. Arvind releases Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha’s Book of Poems ‘Gitanjali Harivrijesh’

Patiala, August 6 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala, Dr. Arvind today released a collection of poems by the great Punjabi scholar  Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha ‘Gitanjali Harivrijesh’. The book is published by Navyug Publishers Delhi and edited by the scholar of Punjabi University Patiala Dr. Ravinder Kaur Ravi and Punjabi scholar Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan.

                Major Adarshpal Singh, great grandson of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha was also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, Dr. Ravinder Kaur Ravi and Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan  discussion with V.C About the book ‘Gitanjali Harivrijesh’ and ancient Punjabi poem composed by Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha. The Vice-Chancellor Dr. Arvind himself recited the poem “Iayo Guru Nanak Alookik Vasant” from this book and for this auspicious work congrats to Dr. Ravinder Kaur Ravi and Punjabi scholar Dr. Jagmail Singh Bhathuan. He said that our ancient Punjabi scholars respected Hindi as well as other languages ​​besides their mother tongue.
