DAV Public Wins District Science Fair

Amritsar, Nov 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV Public School, Lawrence Road won the District Science Fair organised by NCERT and District Science Supervisor held at Govt. Sen.Sec. School, Shivala Road . The main theme for the Science Fair was ‘Science and Mathematics for a Sustainable World ‘. The school presented a working model under the sub – theme Waste Management and Landmark in Science and Maths. As many as 165 schools participated in the fair where more than 300 models were displayed. Anshul Mahajan of Std X and Humanshu Goenka of Std VII presented their model which gained the appreciation of the judges.

Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road Amritsar and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul Principal DAV College , Hathi Gat , Amritsar congratulated the students for their brilliant performance . They asked them to apply scientific research and innovation in their daily life.

Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students and the teachers for guiding them. She said that she felt proud to see the school excelling in different fields.
