Amritsar, Nov. (Manjit Kaur) – A state of art skating rink was inaugurated at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road. The initative taken by the school was well applauded by the sports lovers. Director/Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh welcomed all the guests. S. Charanjit Singh Chadha President Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The Chief Guest in his speech appraised the gathering and added that the school has always striven its best to provide the best facilities to its students. Small skating demonstration was shown by the hard core skating victors that left the audience mesmerized. The students of the primary section expressed their joy by presenting a wonderful performance on the Punjabi folk dance Bhangra.

Nirmal Singh, Santokh Singh Sethi, Pritpal Singh Sethi, Bharpur Singh, Surinderpal Singh Walia, Ramneek Singh, Savinder Singh, Kuljit Singh, Lakhbir Singh, Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Hakam Singh, Ajit Singh Barsar, Mrs. Ravinder Kaur Bumra and Mrs. Seema Mehta were the other dignitaries.
