65th World Sikh Educational Conference is being organized under the aegis of Chief Khalsa Diwan’s Educational Committee which was established in 1908. This three days conference will be held in CKD Institute of Management & Technology Tarn Taran from 14th-16th November, 2014. Renowned Educationists and sikh representatives from all over the World will be participating in this conference. The chief motive of this conference is to promote the all round progress of Sikh Society and culture alongwith enlightening the Sikh Community through education. Presently, 50 schools are running successfully under the patronage of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society. At present, CKD Institute of Management & Technology, Amritsar, CKD International Nursing College and CKD Centre of Civil Services are contributing their valuable services in the field of education.
Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon, General Secretary of the Conference conveyed that Book Exhibition, Organic Agriculture, Sikh Art and Artefacts, a cultural play ‘Kamagatamaru’ directed by Shri Kewal Dhaliwal and a spectacular Nagar Kirtan will be the Chief attractions of the conference this year. Honorable Chief Minister S.Parkash Singh Badal will inaugurate CKD Institute of Management and Technology, Tarn Taran on the last day of the conference i.e. 16th November 2014. On this occasion renowned political, religious and social digniatries will be honoured by CKD Educational Committee for their meritorious servies in various fields.
