Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulates Punjabis on winning Canadian Parliamentary elections

Amritsar, September 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Bibi Jagir Kaur congratulated 16 Punjabis on their victory in the Canadian Parliamentary elections.

                 She said that Punjabis and especially Sikhs are coming forward all over the world with their hard work and talent.

                “In Canada too, Punjabis have made their presence felt. Sixteen Punjabis have won the Canadian Parliamentary elections”, said Bibi Jagir Kaur.

               She also congratulated Justin Trudeau on re-emergence as a major party.

            Bibi Jagir Kaur said that Canada has a large Sikh population and the contribution of Sikhs to the development of Canada cannot be denied. She hoped that the new Government of Canada would play a pivotal role in resolving Sikh issues and spreading awareness about Sikh identity.
