Fit India Freedom Run organized

Amritsar, September 26 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  On the occasion of 75th anniversary of India’s independence, Under the Amrit Mahotsav today Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized birthday of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay  in 744 districts of all the states and union territories of the . The Fit India Freedom Run was conducted to commemorate the day this program organized on the theme of Jan Andolan from Jan Bhagidari.  This program was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar in village Bania of Tarsika block of district Amritsar through youth club of village Bania Shaheed Udham Singh Sports and Youth Welfare Club.

               At the beginning of the program  Rohil Kumar Katta Accounts and Program Assistant of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar explained the purpose of this program, he motivated the youth to be healthy in life through oath. Got a resolution to include physical activities and after this the national anthem was performed.

               Chief guest of the program was  Sarpanch of village Bania Harjit Singh and other guests of the program were Bhaktar Singh head of village Bania, Sarpanch Baljit Singh, Sarpanch of village Sarai, Balwinder Singh, Sarpanch of Kaler Bala Pai. All the guests were honored by Rohil Kumar Katta.

               In the program, under the leadership of Sarpanchs and Youth Clubs of different villages of Block Tarsika, about 150 people participated in this run program, along with village Bania in the program, other villages Kaleke, Thali Sahib, Tangra, Mehsampur Kalan, Arjun Manga, Jabbowal, Color The youth of Bal Pai, Bhorchi Brahmana, Nibber Wind, Jodha Nagri, Feruman, Adda Tangra specially participated in the program.

                Under the leadership of Shaheed Udham Singh Support and Youth Welfare Club of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar’s youth club. Other youth clubs who participated are Shaheed Baba Jeevan Singh Sports Club, Dhan Dhan Baba Bir Singh Youth Sports Club, Baba Dhan Dhan Gurmukh Das Sports Club, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji Sports Youth Club, Shaheed Tarlochan Singh Sports & Culture Club, United Sports Club, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Ramdas Sports Club, Shaheed Kuldeep Singh Youth Sports Club, Sri Guru Ramdas Sports Club, Baba Zorawar Singh Youth Welfare Sports Club, Shaheed Udham Singh Sports Club Jodha Nagri, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sports Club and Association, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sports Club Adda Tangra.

            During the program National Youth Volunteers of  Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar along with Rohil Kumar Katta of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar, Amanpreet Kaur, Narinder Kaur, Harjinder Singh, Narinder Kaur along with the heads of youth circles Narinder Deep Singh, Amarpreet Singh, Harman , Jugbir Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Rajpreet Singh, Sardul Singh, Harman Singh, Azad Singh, Gurbhej Singh, Akashdeep Singh were present.
