Amritsar, October 31 (Punjab Posy Bureau) – An ultra-modern new building of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Boys Hostel was today inaugurated by Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS). The modern building with more than 100 rooms are equipped with the latest amenities including the 24 hours water supply, recreation centre, reading rooms and guest rooms.
A gymnasium was also inaugurated at the Girls Hostel in the College where Chhina announced a number of other amenities including playground for the girl student. The hostel said Chhina was built in a record period of two years is in consonance with the historic and heritage building of the Khalsa College. Principal Dr.SK Nagpal thanked the management for the facility. KCGC joint secretary Ajmer Singh Heir, Manager Projects N.K Sharma, senior faculty, wardens of the hostels were present.
