Nehru Yuva Kendra is running Jal Shakti Abhiyan “Catch the Rain”

Amritsar, December 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India is running Jal Shakti Abhiyan “Catch the Rain” project in the district on behalf of Ministry of Jal Shakti Government of India.

                 Under this program, a meeting of Youth Clubs and National Youth Volunteers was held in the office today and in this meeting, District Youth Officer Akanksha Mahawaria informed the Youth Clubs and National Youth Volunteers about this program. Told that this program was given to Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan.                   After this meeting, the poster of this program was launched by Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar with all the members present in the meeting and after that a pledge was taken to save water.

                   Accounts and Program Assistant Rohil Kumar Katta said that Nehru Yuva Kendra, Amritsar, took over the reins of this program from development block Tarsika to Shaheed Udham Singh Sports Club Banian from development block Ajnala to Shaheed Maninder Singh Youth Club Ghonwal, from development block Harsa Sheena, Sant Atma. Singh will handle the feruman of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sports Cultural Memorial Association from Sports Club Bua Nangli and Vikas Khand Raiya

                Simultaneously, he told that on behalf of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Amritsar, activities like poster launch, oath taking, Prabhat Pheri, rally, wall painting, competitions, seminars, work camps, street plays, Jan Choupal, Jan Samvad etc. were conducted at the village level. will go Simultaneously, he told that all efforts would be made to ensure the participation of youth in this campaign so that the youth and children of the country, inspired by this campaign, take a pledge to conserve water and also motivate the people so that this campaign can be made successful.

                 During the poster launch program organized and organized under the chairmanship of District Youth Officer, Pinky Bedi, Gagandeep Singh, Shamsher, National Youth Volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Amritsar along with Mr. Robinjit Singh, Awarjot Singh, Shamsher Singh, and Narinder Deep Singh from youth circles.
