21 students identified in Ukraine from Kapurthala district

Kapurthala, February 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Mrs. Deepti Uppal has urged the students from district Kapurthala who were stuck in Ukraine and their parents in India to not travel without the logistic support of Indian High Commissioner in Ukraine.

                  She said that on the helpline phone numbers set up by the district administration in Kapurthala (01822 -292001) has received information about the 21 students in Ukraine from the district. She said that the data has already been shared with the Punjab government to further facilitate the union government to bring back the Indian people from war zone in a safe manner .

              She said that the people belongs to Kapurthala who are in Ukraine must send their address or phone number etc so that it can be shared to the home department Punjab to further facilitate the union government to ensure the safe return of our people and students to the mother land.

                She said that the district administration is in regular touch with the Punjab government to facilitate the people and for that the district administration has launched the helplines at all sub division level. Besides that people may also contact the concerned SDM’s.
