Felicitation Ceremony of  SGHP  School Toppers dedicated to 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Amritsar, August 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr.Sec. Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar always takes pride to acknowledge the sterling achievements of its students in CBSE Board Exams 2022. Like every year, the proud achievers of XII CBSE Board Exams 2022 were honoured for their commendable achievement with certificates, clocks and medals. Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjer Cabinet Minister and President Chief Khalsa Diwan was the Chief Guest, Swinder Singh Kathunangal Hony. Secy. CKD presided over the function and Jugraj Singh Randhawa D.E.O Amritsr was the Guest of Honour at the felicitation ceremony which was organized in the school auditorium. They were accorded a warm welcome by the Principal, staff and students with floral bouquets.

               The colourful programme dedicated to 75 years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was organized by the Sr. Sec. Students. The function commenced in the auditorium with the invocation of God followed by formal address by School Member Incharge Prof. Hari Singh. After this exhilarating and scintillating cultural programme proceeded. Principal/Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh read out the achievements of the school. A Punjabi dance by the elegant girls of XII brought the whole auditorium alive with the dhol beats.

                 The auditorium reverberated with loud cheers as the proud achievers of classes XII & X walked down the aisle towards the stage to collect their awards from the Chief Guest Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjer (Cabinet Minister Punjab) and Members of the Management. The felicitation ceremony celebrated the saga of the outstanding achievement in XII & X CBSE Board Examinations 2022. Diya Mittal brought laurels to the school by being the City Topper in Medical stream with 99% marks. 112 students of class XII scored 90% and above marks in the session 2021-22. Amitejkaran Singh of X std. scored 98% marks and stood first in the school.

                 In a short but impressive speech, the Chief Guest commended the awardee students on their brilliant performance. On this occasion, he advised the students to be free from various human vices and should contribute in their own way to the cause of society. He advised the students to come together to do their bit to protect and save their environment and waters and should shun away from using single use plastic. In his speech Sawinder Singh Kathunangal, Hony. Secy. & Prof. Hari Singh, Member Incahrge congratulated the proud achievers on their success.

              The prize distribution function was attended by Vice President Jagjit Singh, Resident President Santokh Singh Sethi, Hony. Secretary  Educational Committee Dr. S.S Chhina, School Member Incharge Prof. Hari Singh, Member Incharge CKD Office & Hony. Joint Secretary Sukhjinder Singh Prince etc.
