Amritsar, April 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A Principals’ Conclave was held at Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KET) here by the 24 Pb. Battalion of NCC which was attended by Principals, ANOs and CTOs of around 30 colleges of Amritsar. Col. Alok Dhami informed that the purpose of the meet was to spread the information about NCC. He said that every year number of students get enrolled as NCC cadets, still many of the colleges are not aware about the benefits of NCC.
He said that free dresses will be provided to students belonging to border area. Also he proposed that there should be separate NCC lecture in the Time Table of the College. Along with Col. Dhami, Subedar Major Maniram and administrative officer Vijay were also present during the conclave. Dr. Manju Bala Director KCET said that such meets should be regularly organized so that various problem faced by colleges during the NCC camps can be discussed with NCC officers and work on its solutions.
