DAV Public School Third in CBSE National Aerobics Tournament

Amritsar, Dec. 20 (Punjab Post  Bureau) – DAV Public School, Lawrence Road clinched third position in CBSE National Aerobics Tournament – 2014 held at Indore. Shivam Khanna of Std XI  Arts bagged Bronze Medal in U – 19 Individual Sports Aerobics. The school’s U – 14 Fitness Group also bagged Bronze Medal in their  event. The participants were  Saksham Behal VII, Arshdeep Singh VII,  Gaurang Gulati         VII, Subah Mehta VII, Nishtha Arora VII, Saumya KhuranaVII, Snigdha Dubey, Krishna Arora VIII etc.

Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra  Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul OSD, DAV University , Jalandhar appreciated the efforts of the students and the teachers for this wonderful performance. They said that it was important for the students to participate in different activities  and tap their potential early.Dr. Neera Shamra Principal of the school congratulated the students and said that Aerobics is a good way to keep fit. So , they must keep  on practicing it as it would be beneficial  for  them throughout their lives. She said  that she was happy with the performance of her students at the national level.
