Guru Nanak Dev University GCA Zone Zonal Youth Festival of concluded

Amritsar, October 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Zonal Youth Festival of the Guru Nanak Dev University for Government/Constituent Colleges and Associates Institutes concluded in Dasmesh Auditorium of the University. In ‘A’ Division S.R. Govt. College for Women, Amritsar bagged the first position, N.J.S.A Govt. College, Kapurthala secured the second position and  Govt. College Gurdaspur was adjudged the third best team.

In ‘B’ division, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Co. Ed. College Jalandhar secured the first,  Bebe Nanaki University College Mithra Kapurthala second and Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial College Mukandpur got third position in this festival. In the category of Associate Institute, SSSS College of Arts for Women, Amritsar was adjudged the first best team while Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College for Women, Amritsar got second position.

Dr. Amandeep Singh Incharge Youth Welfare gave the trophies to winning teams and congratulated all participating teams. A big team of student volunteers and teacher-mentors from the University campus are driving these festivals forward and have the patronage of Vice Chancellor Dr Jaspal S. Sandhu. Competition for theatre events, fine arts and literary events were held on the concluding day.

Dr. Amandeep Singh said that Zonal Youth Festival of Educational Colleges will be organized on 10-11 October, 2023.
