Annual Function of SGH Sr. Sec. School G.T. Road Nursery Classes celebrated

Amritsar, November 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Annual Day of Nursery class of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School G.T. Road Amritsar was celebrated. Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar President Chief Khalsa Diwan graced the occasion with his wife Mrs. Gurbir Kaur Nijjar. Other dignitaries present in the function were Jagjit Singh Vice President & Member Incahrge G.T School along with his wife Smt. Ritu, Guest of honour Sukhjinder Singh Prince along his wife Smt. Pinky, Swinder Singh Kathunangal Honoraray Secretary and his wife Mrs. Daljinder Kaur, Kulwant Singh and his wife Smt. Sukhwant Kaur and Amreek Singh. The programme commenced with blessings of Almighty with school shabhad followed by welcome dance by the toddlers. Principal Mandeep Singh welcomed all the guests and parents. The action song “Toofa Tofa” mermerized the audience with their wonderful dance moves group dance ‘Star Jump’ too won acolades which made the audience shake their leg to  its tunes. Fancy dress was the highlight of the show where little munchkins performed as social media, Chandrayaan, Smart phone, Newspaper, Maa Boli, Mai bhago, Gatka and many more. Parents kept chering for their children who performed on the stage.

The programme ended with Punjabi dance ‘Bhangra’ which made everyone tap their feet to the beats of dhol. Chief guest Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar with members of managements and the Principal Mandeep Singh awarded the students who brought glory to the school in different fields. In his speech Dr. Nijjar felicitated the prize winners and also mentioned the pivotal role of parents and teachers in life of childrens. Headmistress Mrs. Kiranjot Kaur and Mrs. Manwinder Bhullar of Pre Primary Deptt. proposed the vote of thanks and extended their warm regards to everyonepresent at the annual day celebrations.
