Amritsar, December 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Department of Lifelong Learning at Guru Nanak Dev University has initiated a significant drive aimed at empowering unemployed 10th and 12th pass boys and girls, regardless of age, through specialized self-employment certificate courses. These courses, conducted over six months at the University Campus in Amritsar are tailored to equip candidates with essential skills for self-reliance in today’s competitive job market.
Dr. Anupama Kaur Director of the Department highlighted the diverse range of certificate courses available in which Dress Designing (for tenth pass girls); Beauty Culture (for 10th pass girls); Web Development (for 12th pass boys and girls); Web Designing (for 12th pass boys and girls); Computer Basic Concepts (for 12th pass boys and girls); Communication Skills in English (for 12th pass boys and girls); Textile Designing (for 12th pass girls) are included. She said that Candidates interested in enrolling for these courses can submit their admission forms online via the Guru Nanak Dev University website at www.gndu.ac.in/lifelong/default.aspx. The deadline for applications is December 31, 2023. These courses are designed to provide practical skills and knowledge necessary for self-employment and entrepreneurship in various industries.
