“On The Spot painting Competition” of school students by KAUSA Trust

Amritsar, December 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – An “On The Spot painting Competition” of the school students was

held by KAUSA Trust at its KT:Kala Museum here today.The vibrant event unfolded at KT :Kala Museum Lawrence Road Extension Amritsar.

A total of 125 students from 15 schools enthusiastically participated in the competition, divided into three groups: “A” group for classes 6th, 7th and 8th , B” group for classes 9th and 10th, and “C” group for classes Plus One and Plus Two.With no specified topic, students were given the freedom to paint whatever inspired them, resulting in a diverse and impressive array of artworks.

The esteemed jury, consisting of Gurvinder Pal Singh a renowned artist, Ms. Manju Kumar Emmanuel and Brajesh Jolly They carefully deliberated and selected the deserving winners.

As the competition unfolded, all participants were treated to refreshments. Each participant received participation medals and gifts.

Cash awards and medals were presented to the winners, while teachers received certificates of appreciation for their dedication and encouragement of students in such artistic endeavours.

Dr. Rajani Dogra Principal of Saint Sarangdhar Senior Secondary School, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, distributing awards to the winners. In her keynote address, she commended the commendable efforts of KT: Kala Museum.

Prior to the award ceremony, Secretary Shri Rajesh Raina extended a warm welcome to the students, their teachers, and distinguished guests. He assured that KT will continue its efforts to nurture art in the border region. Director Brajesh Jolly expressed gratitude to all involved, concluding the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks.

Noteworthy attendees included Ms. Nisha Ghai, Ms. Kavita Hastir, Dr. Lalit Gopal Parashar, Ms Bela Aggarwal, and Ms Kanchan Arora along with numerous art teachers, artists, and parents of the participating students.
