NSS unit of BBK DAV College for Women visited Nishkaam School

Amritsar, Jan. 4 (Punjab Post Bureau) – NSS unit of BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road visited Nishkaam school, a school for unpriviledged informed Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra . A warm welcome was extended by Principal Mr. Sardar Singh, staff members and tiny tots of school. A well organized program was initiated by National Anthem, followed by patriotic song. Program officer Jaspreet Bedi spoke on social values. She emphasized on practical implementation of ideas. Volunteers Manisha, Rupali, Dheerika and Gurpreet Kaur spoke on female feticide, hardwork, drug addiction and cleanliness. Unit also gifted the students cash sweets and stationery. Programme officer Mrs. Surbhi Sethi, Dr. Shveta Mrs. Alpana motivated the volunteers to work for society with enthusiasm. Mr. Sardar Singh extended vote of thanks.
