Amritsar, Feb. 13 (Manjit Kaur) – CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT) conducted a successful campus placement drive for the HCL Technologies Ltd.-BSERVE from Noida in collaboration with Punjab Technical University (PTU) on Wednesday. The mega placement drive was open to various streams of MBA, MCA, B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Sc (ATHM) and B.Com (Prof.). More than 265 students from 16 prominent colleges across the region participated in the drive. The selection process consisted of three rounds, of which first round was Group Discussion followed by Voice and Accent test and Personal Interview rounds. A total of 35 students were shortlisted out of which seven were finally selected including two students of CKDIMT, Harsahib Arora (BBA-3rd year) and Sushant Arora (BCA-3rd year). The selected candidates have been offered the position of Junior Engineer (Product Support) with handsome package of 2.40 Lacs per annum. President, S. Charanjit Singh Chadha said, “Joint Placement Drive allows students to develop interpersonal skills and increase their confidence and professional maturity.” Dr. Baljinder Singh, Member-Incharge and Dr. H.S Sandhu, Principal of CKDIMT appreciated the efforts of Paramjit Singh Makkar (Head Placements) and said that many more MNC’s is also lined up for further recruitment in our college in the current session. S. Narinder Singh Khurana (Honorary Secretary) thanked the HCL team. Senior HR Executives of HCL, Mr. Ketan Bansal and Ms. Simran expressed their gratitude to CKDIMT for all the support extended.
