Mangal Dhillon to make documentary film on Operation Blue Star

Amritsar, Mar. 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Saaka Neela Tara (Operation Blue Star) will be a docu-drama film to be written, produced & directed by Mangal Dhillon. This docu-drama film is about the eye witness account with analytical view, perhaps which has never been explored earlier. Mangal Dhillon said that the purpose of this docu-drama film is to preserve the historical tragedy from an unbiased perspective to educate the coming generations about the various parts played by political leaders, Army, Police, administration, media, public, mediators & Khadkus during that most traumatic,  tragic & dark period. It’s a known fact, that those who forget their past are condemned to repeat it & this docu-drama film would be like a lesson & a constant reminder to all of us, so that we don’t have to repeat it again. Most of the eye witnesses may have passed away by now but there might a few of them alive today to tell the most tragic horror story of Operation Blue star, which no one may have heard till date. Sikh history has been misrepresented by Mughal Historians, which was followed by many modern historians & it lead to many confusions & conflicts but it could have been avoided if an unbiased historical version of actual Sikh history was available. Similarly, today many versions of blue star operation are available but it’s difficult to find the unbiased one since every writer has his individual perception according to his bent of mind; where as our entire focus in this docu-drama is to preserve the absolutely unbiased version of blue star operation along with its root causes, background & aftermath said Mangal Dhoillon.

Mr. Dhillon said that it’s part of the most tragic heritage of Sikhs & their coming generations have the right to know the real faces of the main culprits along with the truth behind the blue star operation & that’s what is the aim of this docu-drama film. He invited everyone, who so ever has any kind of undisclosed genuine eye witness account of Operation Blue Star to share it with us, so that it gets preserved & doesn’t die along with the person, who has kept it alive, by living with it for so many years. In brief, it’s our humble effort to preserve the unadulterated & unbiased version of our history through the digital format to avoid any kind of confusion for the coming generations as it has been done often by various biased versions of historians in the past.
