Regional level Seminar held at GNDU Chungh

Bhikhiwind/Khalra, 10 March (Kulwinder Kamboke / Lakhwinder Golann) – A regional level seminar on “How safe are women?” was organized at G.N.D.U. College, Chungh on 9th march to discuss the legal and social aspects of women safety. The Seminar was conducted by women cell of the College. Principal Dr. Manmohan Singh Gill welcomed all the guests on this occasion. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Rajesh Gill from Panjab University Chandigarh. In her key note address. She said, “The progress of the society and humanity depends on the intergrated development and safety of women.” The guest of honour Mrs. Nirmal Pandi, Principal, S.D.A.M College, Dinanagar stressed the need of creating an optimum environment for the holistic growth of women. On this occasion, Dr. Sukhdev Singh in his presidential remarks congratulated the women cell for holding seminar on such a vital issue of modern time. Prof. M.L.A Virsa Singh Valtoha also attended the seminar and exhorted the young generation to follow moral values and have respect for women. Dr. Manjinder Kaur co-ordimator presented the vote of thanks and said that the women cell would continue to hold such events in future also. Dr. Anu Mittal conducted the stage. All the dignitaries were honored on this occasion. Various Scholars from different colleges also presented their Papers.
