BBK DAV got Runner up position in GNDU Inter College Cricket Championship

Amritsar, Apr. 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Cricket team of BBK DAV College for Women got Runner up position in GNDU Inter College Cricket Championship held at GNDU campus on 25^th and 26^th March, 2015. The College team defeated R.R. Bawa College, Batala with a score of 215-05. The College Batswoman and bowler Priyanka scored 101 runs and got 3 wickets, Renu scored 41, Bharti Bawa got 4 wickets and Neha 2 wickets. Five Players, Kabia, Neelam, Renu, Priyanka & Bharti won First Position in All India Intervarsity held at Chennai from 8^th to 11^th March, 2015. Other team members Neha, Renu, Anjali, Pooja, Bamrada, Gurbir, Manpreet, Rekha, Jyoti Sharan and Navpreet.

The College international player Ms. Sneh Rana participated in Inter college championship. She got 3 wickets & 2 run out of scored 15 runs. She also won 1^st position in T-20 International Matches held at Bangalore on 30 Nov 2014 & 2^nd position in One Day International (ODI) Matches held at Bangalore from 22-28 Nov, 2014 and won First position in All India Intervarsity held at Chennai form 8^th to 11^th March.
