Prize Distribution Ceremony at DAV Public School

Amritsar. Apr. 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road brought laurels and accolades to the school in IOEL i.e International Olympiad of English language 2015, conducted by Silver Zone . Prize Distribution ceremony was conducted on 20.04.2015. Parth Mahajan , student of Std – I , has curved a niche with his outstanding performance in IOEL. He has qualified second level earning Ist rank in Olympiad. He is awarded with a tablet, trophy and a certificate.

Parth Mahajan has also bagged a wrist watch in first level along with Atharv Kaul and Shiv Sai Davesar, Taranpreet, S. Batra, student of Std – VII,  has qualified first level and awarded with excellence certificate. 13 students have earned gold medals, 16 students have earned silver medals and 13 students have earned Bronze medals. The school has also been awarded with a trophy. Principal Dr.Neera Sharma ji , congratulated the winners, teachers and parents. Addressing the children, she stressed on the importance of hard work and persistent efforts. She summed her address with a quotation “ Work hard in Silence , let your success be your voice.”
