Amritsar, Apr. 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Agam Shingari of Std IX of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road was crowned as Nanhe Ustad – 2015 for his exceptional skill as a Tabla player. He participated in ‘Guldasta- Musical Concert’ held under the aegis of Sahodaya Schools Complex at Sri Guru Harkrishan Sen. Sec. School, Amritsar under the category ‘Tabla–Vadan’. There were as many as 40 more participants in different categories from Amritsar Zone.
This Tabla Wizard gained the highest accolades from the judges and the audience and secured A Grade and was awarded a trophy and a certificate. Regional Director Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate congratulated the student and blessed him for his future endeavors.
Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded his efforts and advised him to work hard for his passion and gain name and fame not only for himself but for his school and family also.
