‘WoW !’ performance of DAV’s Little Champs in Abacus

Amritsar, Apr. 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road and Cantt branch gave some very  sterling performance of mental ability and calculating speed at the Abacus competition held at Guru Nanak Auditorium on 26^th April 2015. 400 children participated in this event and the DAV students bagged prizes in maximum categories with their outstanding performance . The children solved 100 sums in 5 minutes proving their mental ability and brilliant aptitude.

Mrs. Sangeeta Sehgal the Abacus centre  organiser said that this programme is  the key to success and helps in developing better mental skills and learning abilities which makes their future and brighter and  burden – free. Their  memory, speed,  concentration and confidence improve and help them achieve success and satisfaction in life. Hence it is the best gift parents can give  to a child.

Regional Director Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal BBK DAV College for Women was highly delighted by this achievement of the children and expressed her happiness. School Manager Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate extended his heartfelt  blessings to these children. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal DAV Public School who was present at the occasion congratulated the winners and encouraged them to work harder for success in future.
