DAV Public School Teacher Honoured at State Level

Amritsar, Apr. 30 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  It’s a matter of  great pride for DAV Public School, Lawrence Road and the whole DAV Fraternity as Priyanka Sharma from Fine Arts Faculty of the school was honoured at the State Level for  her meticulous work in the field of Art.  She was awarded with the “Highly Commended State Award”  in the 2^nd  State Exhibition of Art  organised by Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar. As many as 1000 artists from all over Punjab participated in the exhibition and showcased their best work. Regional Director (Amritsar Zone) Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road, Amritsar and the Manager of the school Dr.Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College sent their best wishes for the teacher and said that teachers were the role models for  their students and such awards not only motivates the teacher but the students also. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school also applauded the efforts of the teacher. She expressed her happiness and said that learning is a never ending process and a teacher must explore new horizons for the personal and professional growth.
