Sahodaya Inter School Art Competition held at SGH Sr. Sec. Pub. School Majitha Road Bypass

Amritsar, may 27 (Manjit Kaur) – In order to promote the aesthetic sensibilities in students a Sahodaya Inter School Art Competition, was organized by Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School Majitha Road Bypass. 27 CBSE affiliated schools of the Amritsar District participated in three events in Pot painting. Glass/ Mirror painting and collage making. These events were organized as a group activity. 3 students from each school participated in each event. Principal of the school Mrs. Dapinder Kaur welcomed the participants and accompanying teachers. She addressed the students and said that each participant was a winner already as they were representing their respective schools. She also added , Learning is more important than winning. Judges of the event were Mrs. Nirmal Kaur- Principal of a reputed ICSE school of the city and Mrs. Navneet Kaur- an artist from the city. S. Harminder Singh member Incharge and Dr. Dharamveer Singh President, Sahodaya Schools Complex, Amritsar were the Guest of Honour. They were given a warm welcome by the Members Incharge of the school S. Rajmohinder Singh Majitha, Er. Jaspal Singh (F.I.E), Er. Navdeep Singh & Mrs. Dapinder Kaur .

Er. Jaspal Singh proposed  the vote of thanks. He thanked the participating schools for their overwhelming response and hoped it would have been a good learning experience for them. The winners of the event were given different art exhibits & certificates. All the participants were awarded certificates.
