Pooja Sharma grabbed 1st position in GNDU

Amritsar, Aug. 19 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Result of Post Graduate Department of Commercial Art Sem-IV of BBK DAV College for Women was declared by Guru Nanak Dev University. Pooja Sharma grabbed 1^st position in University by scoring 1355/1600 marks, Chamanpreet Kaur and Aastha Joshi secured 2^nd position by scoring 1341/1600 marks in University and Sukhveen Kaur got 3^rd position by scoring 1330/1600 marks in University. 98% students got distinction. The department of Commercial Art prepares students for both Manual Designing and Computer Graphics.

Mr. Sundeep Zutshi, HOD, Department of Commercial Art explained avenues of the subject. After completing this course, student can enter into the advertising market as Illustrators, Graphic Designers, Visualizers etc and can get handsome salary packages from the publication houses, T.V. Channels, Newspapers, Production Houses etc. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra felicitated the students and motivated them to maintain the good work in future as well.
