Amritsar, Sept. 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication Sem-II & IV of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar have bagged all top positions in GNDU exams held in May, 2015. In BA. JMC Sem-II, Kiran Preet stood 1st in the University by securing 344/450 marks, Komal Sharma bagged second position by securing 337/450 marks, Samiksha Narula stood 3rd in University by securing 336/450 marks, Geetanjali Sharma secured 4th position with 333/450 marks, Gurpreet Kaur stood 6th in University by securing 325/450, Geetanjali Mehta stood 7th in university by securing 313/450 marks, Harsimran Kaur bagged eight position with 312/450 marks, Collin stood 9th in the university by securing 305/450 marks & Tanya Anand stood 10th in university by securing 304/450 marks. B.A. JMC Sem-IV, Harshita Jain of the college stood 2nd by securing 404/550 marks, Akanksha Sareen bagged 3rd position with 403/550 marks. Jasleen Kaur stood 5th with 390/550 marks and Ashita Mehra bagged 7th position by securing 384/550 marks. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the achievers and motivated them to maintain their position in future as well. HOD, Dr. (Mrs.) Priyanka Bassi said, “The students of the department have always bagged top positions in GNDU exams. Yet again they have passed with flying colours. The relentless efforts of the teachers have shown results.”
