Stockmind contest organized in CKD Institute of Management & Technology

Amritsar, Sept. 25 (Manjit Kaur) – In its move to bring best opportunities to its students, CKD Institute of Management & Technology (CKDIMT organized a seminar on STOCKMIND by a renowned brand in Financial Sector “ICICI Securities”. Mr.Sushant Palsra, Regional Marketing Manager ICICI Securities from Jaipur was the key speaker. Member Incharge Dr.Baljindar Singh  and Principal Dr. H. S. Sandhu extended warm welcome to the company official. Industrial expert Mr. Sushant shared the basics of stock market, how and why it works and how it is beneficial to the students. Besides, he talked about the investments options available for the students, Current Indian economy and he also discussed few case studies with them relating to Current Indian Economy with special reference to GST, WPI, CPI and Inflation. He further introduced to the students an online contest where they will be competing on stock trading. The contest is popularly known as STOCKMIND. In this the students have to register free of cost and then they will be provided with Rs. 15 Lacs of virtual money for trading. With this money they have to trade and make maximum profit. The student who makes the maximum profit out of this will be awarded with trophy and gift vouchers. He will be also competing in the Regional and National rounds. There would be various prizes at each level. At National level 1st Prize for Post Graduate Courses is Rs. One Lac & Rs. 50,000 for Under Graduate Courses. Dean Placements Mr. Paramjit Singh Makkar thanked Mr. Sushant Palsra for his valuable session with the students. Dr. H.P.
