4  Day Workshop by BBK DAV Post Graduate Dept. of Fine Arts

Amritsar, Oct. 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Post Graduate Department of Fine Arts of BBK DAV College for Women organized a four day workshop on miniature painting. During this workshop, Dr. Nathu Lal Verma, Assistant professor Dept. of Drawing and Painting, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur demonstrated traditional painting technique and style. During the workshop the participants made a painting depicting the style. Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra appreciated the efforts of the department and said that such workshops are helpful for both staff and students as they help to bring out their best and is a platform to teach the traditional and modern technique. Dr. Jiwan Sodhi added that department has a tradition to organize such national and international events that gives exposure to students.
