DAV College won Inter college Archery compound Tournament

Amritsar, Nov. 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV College won first position in Archery Compound Tournament, which was organized by the Guru Nanak Dev University on October 29&30. College students showed an extra ordinary performance during the competition. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students and the department of Physical Education. He also applauded the achievements of sports persons Sachin Mittal, Udhay Chohan, Jivraj Oleman, Hemant, Bibsarjeet Singh, Miland Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Rahul and Prince Kumar.

 While giving information about the competition, Dr. BB Yadav, Head department of Physical Education said that College won first position leaving behind all its competitors like Layalpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, khalsa College GNDU Campus and St. Soldiers College, Jalandhar.  Sachin Mittal was selected as best player among all sports person in archery tournament as he secured highest 681/720 runs. Prof Sandeep Sharma and Prof Davinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
