New Agriculture Block inaugurated by Majitha at Khalsa College

Amritsar, Nov. 26 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Khalsa College Governing Council President Satyajit Singh Majithia today inaugurated the new research block at the Agriculture department of Khalsa College. He said the new block will be one of the most modern facilities for the academic and research activities in the department which is one of the oldest departments dating back to the pre-partition era.

The ultra modern laboratories and classrooms had been added in the five-story building which has been built in one year time. A new bio-lab and horticulture museum in the research block would add to the research activities, said KCGC honorary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina. Principal Dr. Mehal Singh thanked the management for the strengthening of the infrastructure in the department.

Those who were present during the inauguration included additional hounorary secretary Swinder Singh  Kathunangal, Gunbir Singh, SS Abdal, Nirmal Singh, S.S Mannan, Rajbir Singh, Dr. K.S Gill, Agriculture Department head Dr. Randeep Kaur Bal, S.S Sethi, Principals of various Khalsa institutions were present.
