BBK DAV Won Sr. National Tug Of War Championship

Amritsar, Dec. 7 (Punjab Post Bureau)-  Players of Tug of War team of BBK DAV College once again proved their mettle by winning  Sr. National Tug of War Championship held at Maharashtra (Washim). Twenty teams of different States of India participated in the championship. Principal   Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the winners and motivated them to maintain good position in future. While expressing her views she said that it’s a matter of great pride that all nine players who represented Punjab team are from our college. Our players gave a splendid show by defeating Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Pondicherry, Tripur, Rajasthan, Haryana, Kerala and Manipur, she added. Mrs. Sweety Bala H.O.D, Sports Department, teachers of the department Ms. Savita Kumari, Ms. Aruna & Ms. Rajwant Kaur and Coach Mr. Gurjeet Singh congratulated the students for their achievement.
