Ceremonial rite Dastaar-Bandi held in Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Golden Avenue branch

Amritsar, Dec. 15 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Chief  Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society celebrated The Gurupurb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in the premises of Sri Guru Harkrishan Pub. School Golden Avenue. S. Charanjit Singh Chadha President, S. Dhanraj Singh Vice President, S. Nirmal Singh Resident president, the Founder Member incharge S. Santokh Singh Sethi, Jaswinder Singh Advocate & Kuljeet Singh Sahni along with other CKD member Incharges and principals graced the occasion. Principal Mrs. Satinder Kaur Marwaha welcomed all dignitaries. This reverent occasion began with bhog of Sri Sehaj Path. The Grand ceremonial event witnessed the pious rite of “Dastaar Bandi” of 7^th class students by Singh Sahib Giani Maan Singh. Ceremonial tying of Turbans on the heads of students by C.K.D dignitaries amidst the Sahiba’s melodious hymns of Gurbani presented a divine scene. S. Santokh Singh Sethi congratulated the parents & gave his best wishes to the students. President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha appreciated that school is transcending the wisdom of heritage, spirituality, values of love & culture to its student. S. Jaswinder Singh Advocate shared his valuable views and prayed to God to shower his blessings on the institution for the years to come. He advised the students to follow the preaching of Sri Guru Nanak Dev. Prizes were distributed to the students who showed their excellent performance in the academic field. S. Kuljeet Singh Sahni thanked all the guests. Langar was also served.
