Three day Painting & Sculpture Exhibition by women artists of Amritsar

Amritsar, Jan. 1 (Punjab Post Bureau)- To foster, cultivate and promote the art in the region, Indian Academy of Fine Arts Amritsar had always been organizing the exhibitions & workshop of different artists from all over the country. A three day Painting & Sculpture Exhibition by women artists of Amritsar Aakarshi Sahni, Bharti Malhotra, Bhawana Sharma, Gursharn Kaur, Inderpreet Kaur, Kumud Dudeja, Kawaldeep Kaur, Nancy Grover, Saroj Sharma, Teena Sharma was organized today to exhibit their work. Exhibition was inaugurated by S. Mohinderjit Singh Chairman of Indian Academy of Fine Arts. The exhibition is unique in itself and will be beneficial for the students of art, said Mohinderjit Singh. All the schools & colleges are invited to see the work done by artists. This exhibition will continue till January 3.

The renowned persons from city Dr. P. S. Grover, Arvinder Singh Chamak, Shivedev Singh, Gopal Kirodiwal, Narinder Singh Sculptor, O P Verma, Atul Mehra, Sanjay Sharma, Karamjit Singh were also present on the inauguration.
