Bajwa Brother-Sister Champion Skaters bag honored on Republic Day Celebrations

Amritsar, Jan 28 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Skater and Limca book record holder Raavi Bajwa, student of class-1, Delhi Public School who won gold at ‘All India Open Roller Skating Championships’ Mussoorie, Uttarkhand was honored by Bikram S Majithia at District Republic Day held at Gandhi Ground on Republic Day 26^th January.

Yuvraj S Bajwa and Raavi Bajwa  are brother- sister champion skaters. Raavi  entered the Limca book of records covering a distance of 21.14 km in 1 hr 12 min breaking the old record Khushi Sangvi of kohlapur, Maharashtra  who traversed the distance of  21.14 km in 3 hrs 24 min . This daring school girl commenced this stunning attempt from Ajnala By Pass Amritsar at 5:27 AM and reached Wagha at 6:52 AM  to set the new record.
