GCW organized awareness programs on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan in 2015-16

Amritsar, Feb 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – S.R. Government College for Women contributed in spreading awareness regarding Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan during the session 2015-16. Activities like Poster making, Slogan writing, Debate, Declamation and Essay writing were undertaken in which the students of the college enthusiastically participated. A Seminar was also held in the college regarding the same topic. On Ist Feb 2016, a special function  was organized in the college auditorium in which Principal Ms. Sunita Sehgal Dhillon gave away the prizes to the winners of different competitions. During the function PPT’s were shown to the students on the topics – Cleanliness and Hygiene; Clean City, Green City, My Dream City.

The Principal in her address congratulated the prize winners and the organizers for arranging various activities so that the idea of cleanliness is re-inforced in the minds of young students. She urged the students to develop the habit of keeping their environment clean that will ultimately result in clean and healthy India.
