6 Medals for DAV Public School in International Olympiad of Science

Amritsar, Feb. 25 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road brought laurels to the school by winning medals and high ranks at the  State  Level in International Olympiad of Science (IOS) organised by Silver Zone  Foundation. Six students from Std IX & X , won medals for their brilliant performance. Eshaan Sharma, Manthan Asher and Kamad Nayyar  of Std IX won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal  and Suryansh , Sureet Kaur and Atharva Tripathi of Std X won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal for scoring above 90 % marks in the IOS. Among the 95 students who appeared in the exam from the school, Suryansh of Std X and Eshaan Sharma of Std IX made  the school proud by scoring State rank 1 and 2 respectively. The school also has the privilege of earning the highest percentage in IOS  among all the schools of Punjab. They will now appear in second round of the exam.

Regional Director , Punjab Zone  A , Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students and blessed them for the next level. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school, applauded the students for their brilliant result .She asked the students to work hard and pursue their dreams.
