CSD for Ex-Servicemen & Veer Naris at Jagraon

Jalandhar, Mar. 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 11 Corps of Indian Army is going to extend CSD Canteen facilities to the veterans and Veer Naris from today. Disclosing this Lt Gen GS Cheema, GOC 11 Corps informed that about 6000 Ex-servicemen, Veer Naris & their  families in Jagraon will be benefitted from the extension of the CSD  canteen facilities.  He said that opening of CSD comes as a great relief to them, as now they will not have to travel long distances to avail canteen facilities. Besides, DPDO already exists in the same complex near Danamandi, considerably reducing inconvenience, as they can now resolve their pension related issues and obtain canteen entitlements from the same complex.  The effort undertaken by army has been appreciated by one and all in the area.
